Severe flooding in Bangladesh is raising alarms about the potential increase in dengue and cholera cases, according to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
Sonakshi Dey, the IFRC's Bangladesh programme director, emphasized that the ongoing aid efforts are facing numerous challenges, which could hinder the response to these health threats.
As the situation develops, the IFRC is calling for increased support and resources to address the urgent health needs of the affected populations.
